The UK-based Chartered Institute of Management Accounting(CIMA), world's largest professional body for Management Accountants has adjudged BBA(Management Accounting) offered by GITAM University as the best university embedded program in India for the year 2014-15. GITAM University Institute of Management designed a new curriculum in BBA program with a combination of CIMA subjects. GITAM signed a MoU with CIMA to run this innovative program from the academic year 2013. CIMA qualification offers careers in Business, Finance and Accounting areas. CIMA is the oldest and most recognised qualification accepted by over 4500 employers mostly MNCs.
CIMA, India Country Head Debasish Biswas, has announced the award at the national conference for CIMA learning partners in a ceremony held in Mumbai and presented the award to GITAM Institute of Management Vice-Principal Prof.P.Sheela and Program Coordinator Dr.T.Phani Kumar.
